A111 Halogen Light Source
The A111 Halogen Light Source is used in investigations of photosynthetic oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange. It radiates broad-spectrum white light (50W) . It requires AC power and cannot be used in the field. The Halogen Light source produces a significant amount of heat load. When using it as a light source above a leaf chamber, ensure that a cooling water bath sits on top of the leaf chamber to absorb the heat.

The red, blue and green filters included in the A211 Leaf Chamber Accessories Kit, each transmit the same quantum flux when used with the A111 Halogen Light Source. The A111 Halogen Light Source comes standard with the PH1LP Photosynthesis Package and the CO500 Basic Carbon Dioxide Package. It comes as an accessory to the OX1LP Dissolved Oxygen Packages.
