<p>The <strong>S141 Light Sensor</strong> has been developed for use with the <a href="http://qubitsystems.com/algae-and-bacteria/light-sources-algaebacteria/a111-halogen-light-source/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A111</span></a> Halogen Light Source and <a href="http://qubitsystems.com/plant-and-soil/data-acquisition-plantsoil/c901-loggerpro-data-acquisition-software/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">C901</span></a> Logger Pro software to provide irradiance data in units of µmol quanta/m2/s. Customized setup and calibration files are available to users of Logger Pro software. The sensor can be calibrated by the user for stand-alone operation or for relative measurements of light intensity.  The maximum photosensitivity of the sensor is in the 500-600nm range (most appropriate for halogen light source).</p>
<p>The Light Sensor may be mounted directly under Qubit Systems&#8217; <a href="http://qubitsystems.com/plant-and-soil/g112-flow-through-leaf-chamber/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">G112</span></a> Flow-Through Leaf Chamber for use in photosynthesis measurements with the halogen light source.</p>

<p>The new <strong>Z800 Spectrometer</strong> was developed for high-resolution, fiber optic spectroscopy applications in the UV/VIS to NIR range. It can be used as a stand-alone instrument or as a substantial enhancement of other instruments to analyze spectral composition of irradiance. Ultra-high sensitivity of the instrument allows measuring fluorescence emission spectra of individual cells when combined with <a href="/algae-and-bacteria/photosynthesis-respiration-algae-bacteria/z500-micro-fluorcam/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Z500 Micro FluorCam</strong></span></a>. The spectra can be measured in the range from UV (200 nm) to NIR (980 nm) with FWHM bandwidth of 3.5 nm. Fast recording can capture as many as 100 spectra per second with data resolution of 16 bits.</p>
