Qubit Systems’ combined Q-S161 RH/Temp Sensor allows simultaneous measurements of relative humidity and gas temperature at the RH sensor. Water vapor concentration can then be calculated in absolute units. No calibration is needed if used with C901 Logger Pro software and the associated calibration files (factory calibrated). We recommend the use of the C610 LabQuest Mini data acquisition interface with Q-S161 for logging the relative humidity of gas and the temperature at the RH sensor.
The Q-S161 RH/Temp Sensor has a relative humidity range from 0 to 100% with 1% resolution and a temperature range from 5 to 60°C with a resolution of 0.01°C.
The Q-S161 RH/Temp Sensor is ideal for transpiration measurements in an open-flow gas exchange system. It comes with our Q-Box CO650 Plant CO2 Analysis Packages and Q-Box SR1LP Soil respiration package.
It may also be used to study water loss from animals or to observe RH levels in environmental chambers.
