Qubit S128 Methane Analyzer uses state of the art non-dispersive infrared technology (NDIR) to measure methane levels in a flowing gas at 0-5000ppm range. The instrument is equipped with a digital display that provides a measure of the methane concentration in units of ppm. In addition, an analog output signal (0 – 5 V) is provided for data logging by a computer with our optional software and data interface.
The S128 Methane Analyzer is a flow through gas analyzer therefore gas should be supplied under pressure at flow rates not to exceed 650ml/min. An optional built in gas pump may be provided ( S128-P) for easy delivery of the gas to the sensor. Additionally, a mass flow monitor may also be included for measurements of flow rate through the sample chamber (S128-PF). The S128 Methane analyzer is housed in a weather proof case with temperature control for enhanced stability of the signal and is ideally suited for both lab and field research (with an optional battery pack).
