The G245 Gas Controller and Flow Monitor is designed for gas flow measurements of up to 2LPM in an 8 channel gas switching system. G245 consists of 8 individual mass flow sensors plus 8 needle valves.  The flow of gas in each channel is set with the needle valve and is measured by its flow sensor.  G245 is an essential component of respirometry systems where flow of gas is measured upstream of the specimen chambers.  Gas is supplied to G245 under pressure from a gas pump or other compressed gas source. It is then delivered to the specimen chambers directly.  G245 Flow monitor is connected, together with the G244 eight channel gas switcher to digital output of Qubit data interface (C700 MonoDAQ).  Qubit software controls the digital signal delivered to the G244 gas switcher and the G245 flow monitor to select which gas is delivered to the analyzer and which flow reading is recorded by the software.

Each flow sensor is factory calibrated at STP and measures the mass flow of gas. or any other data acquisition software that accepts a 0 – 5 V analog signal.
